What's going on in your kitchen today?

Jesus has gone away to heaven, and is in the process of preparing a feast.

In your little corner of your heaven on earth, what are you preparing?

Is there someone you love who needs a meal?

Everyone needs a meal.

Everyone needs someone to love on them.

What better way than a meal?

What better example than Jesus?

He is working on it, and his table will be filled with delights.

He will not give a stone for those who need bread.

Do you hand out stones?

Stony glares?

Stony look?

Stony face?

Stony cold shoulder?

Do you cast stones?

What fills your time other than getting yourself ready for the day?

Is it more about you, or all about you, and do you love yourself to the exclusion of neighbors?

What will you prepare for another today that doesn't benefit you at all (as far as you know)?

Do you give only to get, or do you rarely, if at all, give?

The heart that knows God will behave as the Son, and will be obedient, and love, and give.

Will you do that today?

Are you waiting for tomorrow, which may not come for you?

Do not presume upon the grace of almighty God (Romans 2:4).

The days are short, and his kingdom is at hand (Mark 1:15, I Corinthians 7:29).

Where will your feet take you today, and what will your hands carry, and whose load will you bear?

"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"
(Galatians 6:2)
